The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is preparing for the historic launch of Aditya-L1, India's first solar mission, on September 2, 2023. As the launch date approaches, here are some important points to be aware of:

When will the event be streamed live?

The live webcast of the Aditya-L1 mission will begin at 11:50 a.m. on Saturday. This project comes on the heels of India's successful Chandrayaan-3 moon mission.


When and where will the rollout take place?

The Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C57) will launch India's pioneering solar space observatory, Aditya-L1, from the Sriharikota launch pad. It will carry seven distinct payloads designed for an in-depth study of the sun. Four of these will observe sunlight, while the remaining three will measure various in-situ plasma and magnetic field parameters.
