A look at some of famous UFO conspiracy theories ahead of World UFO Day
It commemorates the 1947 Roswell UFO Incident when a US Air Force surveillance balloon crashed near New Mexico, prompting claims that the crash was of an extraterrestrial

Here are a few of the famous UFO conspiracy theories:
Esoteric Hitlerism
Spearheaded by Miguel Serrano, Esoteric Hitlerists believe that the Aryan race is descended from an alien species of the highest order. Serrano taught that the alien gods were hiding with Adolf Hitler in an icy, underground fortress, from which they will one day emerge with fleets of spacecraft to usher in the Fourth Reich.
Area 51
Area 51 is a US military enclave with a closely guarded secret, including wide “trespassers will be shot” stretches and a no-fly zone around it. According to conspiracy theorists, the base allegedly features elaborate underground labs, a dedicated extra-terrestrial runway and research programmes dedicated to reverse-engineering alien technology.
Men in Black
Project Blue Book
This was an endeavour by the US government to examine instances of supposed alien contact. Its official result was that there existed no substantial evidence of alien visitation. But “experts” on the subject stand by the claim that Blue Book became a cover-up of the reality, which included a top secret international squad called Majestic 12 to act as a smokescreen.
