Currently, the World Health Organisation advises 14 days of quarantine for people who may have come in contact with other Covid-19 patients or may have visited affected countries like China or Italy.

The study was published in Cambridge University’s Infection Control & Hospital Epidemiology journal on March 18.
The total coronavirus cases meanwhile topped 3 lakh worldwide. Over 13,000 have now lost their lives due to the new virus.
