"Yuva Yuga" centres to be opened in every district: Minister

BALLARI: " Yuva Yuga" centres would be opened in every district to provide adequate training to the urban as well as rural youth to enhance their skills to help them get employment, Karnataka Labour Minister P T Parameshwar Naik said today.

The scheme was announced in the budget with the sole aim of enabling the educated youth to get proper jobs with priority on enhancing their language and communication skills, Naik told reporters here.

He said the help of experts from foreign countries would be taken and local resource persons too would be provided adequate training in this regard.

Officials have been instructed to prepare concept note regarding the scheme, he said.
