YSRCP dares Congress, TDP to face mid-term elections in AP

YSR Congress today dared APCC chief B Satyanarayana and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu to face the challenge of snap polls in the state.

HYDERABAD: YSR Congress today dared Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee chief B Satyanarayana and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu to face the challenge of snap polls in the state.

At a press conference here, YSRC leader Bhuma Shoba Nagi Reddy sought to know why Congress did not disqualify the 17 MLAs who voted against the party whip during the no-confidence motion against Kiran Kumar Reddy government, if it was so confident of winning the elections.

Like BJP in Karnataka, "Congress is bound to lose both at the Centre and in the state", she said.

"BJP lost power due to internal bickerings in Karnataka and in the same fashion, Congress will lose in Andhra Pradesh....people voted for Congress in Karnataka as there was no strong alternative in that state," she added.

In Andhra Pradesh, people did not differentiate between Congress and TDP as they were hand in glove, she charged and claimed both the parties were afraid of going to polls.

"Let TDP move a no-confidence motion, we will support it," Shoba added.
