You gave 60 years to Mahaswarthabandhan, give 60 months to us: PM Modi to Bihar
NEW DELHI: With 72 hours to go, the Bihar election battleground heat just got more intense with Prime Minister Narendra Modi taking aim at all the three political parties of the Grand alliance. Calling the upcoming elections an opportunity for the people of Bihar to punish those who destroyed the state, Modi said that Bihar needs 'Vikas Raj.'

"You gave 60 years to Mahaswarthabandhan, give 60 months to us, I will undo the damage done by them," PM Modi said while addressing the rally.

Hitting out at Lalu Prasad, the PM said, "Ask Lalu Prasad why he is out of Bihar politics this time." He further added that the RJD chief wants to control the poll-bound state by a remote control and acts like a "Big Boss".

The star campaigner of NDA for Bihar elections said that Nitish Kumar has been brought down to his current state because of his arrogance. "The people of Bihar will punish the person who did such a selfish thing to the son of a poor family," he said while referring to Bihar's ex-Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi.

PM Modi added that in the past 60 years of rule by Congress, Lalu Prasad Yadav and Nitish Kumar, Bihar has lost many industries and a mass youth migration has taken place.

"The Vikas package of Rs 1.65 lakh crore will change the face of Bihar and the future of its youth," he said. The Prime Minister addressed rallies at Munger, Begusarai, Samastipur and Nawada yesterday and finally broke his silence on the incident of Dadri lynching while stating that the President has shown us the way and all communities should work together.
