Yogi Adityanath asks NHAI officials to ensure proper road maintenance in Uttar Pradesh

​​In a meeting with NHAI officials, the CM discussed the status of various road projects and promised all help from his government to ensure timely completion.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has recently promised to improve the condition of roads in the state as soon as possible.
NEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath has asked the National Highways Authority of India to ensure proper maintenance of all roads in its charge in the state.

In a meeting with NHAI officials led by the central body’s chief general manager BS Singla in Lucknow on Wednesday, the chief minister discussed the status of various road projects and promised all help from his government to ensure timely completion.

He told the NHAI officials that his government has given top priority to maintaining the existing roads as well as constructing new roads. The chief minister had recently promised to improve the condition of roads in the state as soon as possible.


He has directed the state’s public works department to make all state roads pothole-free by June 15.
