NAINITAL: Yoga Guru Ramdev's aide Balkrishna who is an accused in a forgery case has been granted permission by the Uttarakhand High Court to visit Nepal for six days.
Justice U C Dhyani of the High Court granted permission to Balkrishna to visit Nepal from February 25 to March 2 yesterday and asked him to report back to the court concerned on March 3 immediately after his return from that country, CBI counsel Arvind Vashishth said.
The passport of Balkrishna against whom a CBI court has already framed charges accusing him of getting it issued on the basis of fake documents is in the High Court's custody.
As a passport is not required to visit Nepal, his counsel withdrew the request for its release made earlier along with a plea seeking permission for the yoga guru's aide to visit Nepal, Vashishth said.
