Yoga guru Ramdev predicts win for Narendra Modi in 2014 polls
CHICAGO: Yoga guru Ramdev today said that the BJP led by Narendra Modi would return to power in the 2014 general elections.

"It is 100 per cent certain that Narendra Modi will win," Ramdev told reporters here after taking part in a rally marking September 28 as Swami Vivekananda Day in Illinois.

"I see that India is ready for a revolution and change. In the election Congress will get 100 seats, BJP and its alliance will get 250-300 seats.

"I think a new history will be created in Indian politics in 2014," he said. On his recent detention at Heathrow airport in London, Ramdev alleged that the government had conspired to frame him in a foreign country.

Ramdev is in the US to participate in the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Swami Vivekananda in Chicago and New Jersey and also visited Houston for a yoga event.

He also commemorated the 120th anniversary of the famous address by Swami Vivekananda at the World Parliament of Religions in Chicago on September 11, 1893.
