MUMBAI: A meeting of BJP core committee will be held this evening to discuss the allegations of corruption against Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, party President Nitin Gadkari said here today.

We will discuss the matter and verify it," Gadkari told reporters at the state BJP headquarters here.

Earlier today, Yeddyurappa, mired in charges of corruption and nepotism, dismissed reports that Gadkari and RSS were "unhappy" with him.

"The JD-S, under the leadership of Congress in Delhi, repeatedly tried to destabilise the BJP-led Karnataka government," Gadkari alleged.

Yeddyurappa has come under attack from the Opposition that is seeking his ouster over alleged land scams and has questioned the allotment of land to a firm, in which his two sons are partners.

Meanwhile, Gadkari took on Congress and demanded a probe into the Commonwealth Games and Raja's spectrum scams.
