Yavatmal ZP: NCP wins Chairman's post, Congress Deputy Chairman's

YAVATMAL (MAHARASHTRA): NCP candidate Dr Arthi Fubhate and Congress nominee Balasaheb Mangulkar were today elected as the Chairperson and Deputy Chairman of Yavatmal Zilla Parishad respectively.

Arthi and Balasaheb polled 44 votes each against the Shiv Sena candidates Manda Gadekar and Aman Gawande, who managed to get only 18 votes each for the post of Chairman and Deputy Chairman respectively.

The Chairman's post was reserved for ST (woman) category, while the Deputy Chairman's post for OBC category.
