Would like to give youth a chance: Virbhadra Singh on becoming CM for 7th time

SHIMLA: Six-time Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today said that though he can become the CM for another term he would like to give youth a chance.

"I can become chief minister for the seventh time but I want to give youth a chance," the octogenarian Congress leader said while addressing a public meeting at Chandesh in Sarkaghat subdivision of Mandi district.

Virbhadra, who entered electoral politics by winning Lok Sabha polls from Mandi constituency in 1962, took over as Chief Minister for the first time in April 1983 and created a record by becoming the CM for the sixth time in December 2012.
