World's best job? Cong's envoy to track black money

NEW DELHI: The best job in the world "caretaker" of an Australian island could lose out to an even more alluring assignment if the Congress delivers on one of its promises.

The party has vowed to appoint a special envoy to track black money if it returns to office.

This could involve ratcheting up lots of frequent flyer miles and travelling to some rather exotic locales. Fancy some snow? Jet off to Switzerland.

Feel like sun and sand? How about some intrepid investigation in Mauritius or the Bahamas? Interestingly, the poll pledge came on a day when the Supreme Court rapped the government for sparse progress in tracking black money over the past 65 years, indicating that the new job will not be short-duration!
