NEW YORK: A World Gujarati Conference will be held in the US in August to provide opportunity to the people from the state settled abroad to network and discuss issues of mutual interest.
The organisers, Association of Indian Americans in North America (AAINA), said its mission includes bringing together Gujaratis from across the world, make them feel proud of their roots and introduce young Gujaratis to their rich cultural and progressive heritage.
Several prominent Gujaratis, who have excelled in various fields, are expected to attend the conference and share their experience.
Besides, industrialists, businessmen, professionals and politicians, personalities from Indian television and film industry and religious leaders are on the list of participants in the three-day meet - "Chaalo Gujarat".
