Within weeks of winning bid, Tata Projects begin work on new Parliament

A CPWD official involved with the project said: “The entry and exit points to Parliament House complex would change during construction. These are temporary arrangements.”

New Delhi: Within a fortnight of Tata Projects winning the bid for construction of new Parliament, the work has started for the project.

According to sources, Parliament House annexe reception, which was adjacent to Parliament House building towards Talkatora Road, would now shift towards the side near Pandit Pant Marg. A CPWD official involved with the project said: “The entry and exit points to Parliament House complex would change during construction. These are temporary arrangements.”
