Will the anticorruption legislative framework help Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha polls?

The UPA government introduced a series of administrative decisions and legislations after Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi took up these issues in public. While Congress and its government have been more than happy to give all credit to Gandhi, the Opposition saw in it a choreographed effort to enhance the political profi le of the Congress vice-president. Rights of citizens

The President will promulgate ordinances for anti-corruption legislations such as Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Bill, Right of Citizens for Time-Bound Delivery of Goods and Services and Redressal of Grievances Bill and Public Procurement Bill on Friday.

Rahul has been demanding these legislations as part of an ‘anticorruption legislative framework’ after the Aam Aadmi Party made a stunning electoral debut in Delhi.
