Will take time to clear Congress' mess: Rajnath Singh
Appealing to the people, Singh said that they should not get carried away by rumors spread by Congress and keep faith in this government.

Addressing party workers here to mark the government's first year in power, he said, "We do not do politics of power but politics of nation building. Just give us five full years and you will have enough comparison between 56 years of Congress rule and 5 years of NDA's rule."
He said his government was not in office to enjoy power but to serve the nation.
Appealing to the people, Singh said that they should not get carried away by rumors spread by Congress and keep faith in this government.
"It's just one year and we are being accused by the Opposition that we did not do anything. They have resorted to mud-slinging but they cannot question our intentions," he said.
"Congress has made such a mess which cannot be cleared in just a matter of one year. Congress has created major problems in the country, which will be required time to be set right," he said.
Reaching out to farmers, Singh said the government is soon coming up with a scheme for them keeping in mind their woes.
"There are a few schemes under consideration and one of them, which would be more effective and objective-oriented, will be announced soon.
"We want to ensure that agriculture is insulated from the perceived risks, which render it unprofitable," he said, adding that a preliminary provisioning of Rs 5000 crore for irrigation purpose has already been made.
Hitting out at Rahul Gandhi, he said, "Congress is relentlessly raising the question on the frequent foreign visits of Prime Minister Narendra Modi but they must know that he has not been holidaying like Rahul Gandhi.
"His (Modi's) visits instead have shot up the image and reputation of India on global platform and foreign nations have started taking India seriously."
In another dig at the Congress leader, Singh said "Despite being in such a responsible post, Rahul Gandhi suddenly disappeared... Being a home minister, I kept searching for him."
