GUWAHATI: The Nagaland government on Saturday reiterated that it would make every effort to ensure an honourable and amicable settlement is found to the ongoing Naga political dialogue.

Passing this resolution at the day-long special State Legislative Assembly session, Chief Minister Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu said his government would arrange for implementation of any solution that the Centre and Naga political groups may find.

NSCN-IM is currently in talks the Government of India. The state government said the House unanimously adopted this resolution and appealed the Government of India to expedite the dialogue in order to bring an early solution to the protracted political problem.

During the special session, the Nagaland Legislative Assembly also passed the Goods and Services Tax (GST) bill.
