Will respond through Akhilesh Yadav, says UP Guv on Azam Khan's letter
Naik was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of convocation ceremony organised at UP Rajarshi Tandon Open University (UPRTOU) at the varsity's premises in Phaphamau on the outskirts of the city.

"I think the letter written by Azam Khan is 'anuchit' (inappropriate). Since I hold a constitutional position it would not be proper for me to respond to his allegations in public. My response would come at the right time and through the proper channel.
"My response will reach the minister through the Chief Minister with whom I share good relations," Naik told reporters.
Naik was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of convocation ceremony organised at UP Rajarshi Tandon Open University (UPRTOU) at the varsity's premises in Phaphamau on the outskirts of the city.
He was replying to a query on the four-page letter written by the controversial minister recently in which he had accused the Governor of having a "continued negative" approach against him and making "politically motivated" statements on the vexed Ayodhya issue.
Earlier, Naik also said that a decision was taken to "change the dress code in place for students attending convocation ceremonies.
"This is needed because the robes they are at present required to don are a reflection on the country's colonial past."
