Will pray to Goddess Durga for extinction of demonic power that supports dynastic politics: BJP National President Nadda

Kolkata: Praying for the victory of good over evil in West Bengal, BJP National President J P Nadda said on Saturday that he will pray to the Goddess Durga for extinction of demonic power that supports dynastic politics ("Bhai bhatija baad"), threat to democracy, increases corruption and takes the country backwards.

Following the footsteps of Union Home Minister Amit Shah who inaugurated Santosh Mitra Square pandal, BJP national president JP Nadda was on a whirlwind tour to Bengal today during Durga pujas.

By saying "Bhai bhatija baad", Nadda clearly hinted at Trinamool Supremo Mamata Banerjee and her family, without naming anyone.


Nadda visited four durga pujas, including Santosh Mitra Square, Sovabazar Rajbari, in Kolkata and Howarh today and also held a party meeting with top leadership in the state.

Nadda, speaking at a puja pandal in Howrah, also said that he prays that good sense and intent should prevail on everyone in the state (without naming Trinamool though hinting at them) and 'sabka saath, sabka vikas" should happen.

After Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP national president JP Nadda is on a whirlwind tour to Bengal today on Durga puja. Nadda visited four durga pujas in Kolkata today to attend Durga Puja.

Speaking at Santosh Mitra Square,Nadda said that he will pray to the Goddess that "asuric shakti" (demonic power) will be defeated in Bengal and there will be victory of good over evil.
