Will move court against 'bias' in allocation of funds: Maharashtra Congress

Mumbai: The Opposition has clashed with the Eknath Shinde government over 'higher allocation of funds' to the ruling alliance MLAs.

Under the supplementary demands, Rs 1,500 cr has been allotted to MLAs. While the ruling party MLAs received Rs 25 cr on an average, Bharat Gogawale from the Shiv Sena received Rs 148 cr for projects in his constituency.

On Monday, the Uddhav Thackeray faction of the Shiv Sena and the Congress slammed the allocation of funds, warning they would move the court court if they don't get funds. " If this is not reversed then we would approach the courts," said Balasaheb Thorat, Congress MLA, in the Assembly.
