Will ink pacts with other countries to retrieve black money: Narendra Modi
HYDERABAD: BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi said if his party is voted back to power at the Centre it would change laws and enter into agreements with other countries to bring black money stashed in foreign banks back to India.

"We will change the laws, if required. We will enter into agreements with other countries. But we will bring back every rupee (of black money) and use it for the welfare of the poor," Modi said, addressing a jont rally of BJP and TDP here this evening.

"We will also give incentives to the salaried class which pays taxes promptly out of its hard-earned money," Modi said.

The Supreme Court rapped the central government today for not implementing its previous order of constituting a special investigation team on black money, he said.

"Shouldn't the black money be brought back"? he told the audience. When the people said yes, he said "you will easily say yes because you have not a single rupee of black money."

Stressing that good governance was needed, he said "you may have the latest computers, iPads, mobile phones. And you may have stored all your beautiful things in them. But what if a virus attacks these gadgets? Like virus, bad governance destroys everything."

Both TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu and Telugu film star Pawan Kalyan who shared the dais with the BJP leader said the country needed Modi, a "strong leader and an able administrator" as the Prime Minister.

"India can develop on par with the USA and China only if Narendra Modi becomes the Prime Minister. Unlike a weak Manmohan Singh and an immature Rahul Gandhi, Modi is strong. Only NDA government under Modi can root out corruption and put India back on track of progress," Chandrababu said.
