Will Delhi get a different breed of netas? The likely Arvind Kejriwal cabinet
There is no official word on who out of the 28 MLAs of the AAP could be part of the Delhi cabinet, but the grapevine is abuzz with some names.

Manish Sisodia (41)
Constituency: Patparganj
Apart from Arvind Kejriwal, he is the only other prominent face of the party with an electoral victory to his credit. As one of the nine members of the party’s political affairs committee, Sisodia has played a key role in steering a course towards forming an AAP-led government in Delhi. It’s a given that he’ll hold an important portfolio in the Delhi cabinet.
Saurabh Bhardwaj (34)
Constituency: Greater Kailash
An engineer by profession, Bhardwaj is among the young lot of elected MLAs of AAP. He was employed with an MNC in Gurgaon before he joined the party. He won from a constituency made up of mainly urban pockets and represents the aspirations of the youth, who voted for AAP in large numbers. This puts him on the list of probable ministers.
Vinod Kumar Binny (39)
Constituency: Laxmi Nagar
Binny won the municipal corporation elections twice as an independent candidate and was associated with the Congress for over three years. He left the party after joining the India Against Corruption movement. In a party full of political novices, Binny’s past experience could come in quite handy in running the government.
Somnath Bharti (39)
Constituency: Malviya Nagar
The former Supreme Court and High Court lawyer is best known for his fight against the central government’s move to change the IIT admission process. He defeated three-time MLA and Delhi’s education minister Kiran Walia by a huge margin. His professional and educational background make him a good candidate for holding a portfolio in the Delhi cabinet.
Who will be the aam aurat?
AAP is keen to have at least one female MLA in the cabinet of ministers since women’s safety was one of the biggest issues on which it fought elections. Although the party hasn’t decided the name yet, the choices are limited with just three female candidates winning the election. It could be either Veena Anand (Patel Nagar) or Bandana Kumari (Shalimar Bagh) or Rakhi Birla (Mangolpuri).
