No-confidence motion: Watch PM Modi's full Lok Sabha speech
Prime Minister Narendra Modi prayed to Lord Shiva in the Lok Sabha today while replying to the no-confidence motion by opposition parties brought against the NDA government.

Tongue firmly in his cheek, PM Narendra Modi was speaking about Rahul Gandhi's reference to Lord Shiva when Rahul said in his speech that he learnt about Lord Shiva from the BJP and the RSS.

Modi said, "Main bhi bhagwan Shiv ko praarthana karta hun, janata ko praarathana karta hun, inhen itni shakti de ki 2024 main phir se avishwas prastaav lekar aayein (I pray to Lord Shiva and the people of the nation that they give them so much strength that they bring a no-confidence motion against my government again in 2024). They have my best wishes."

Modi cheekily implied that it would be his government again next time and the Congress would again sit in opposition, without any strength to topple his government.
