Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ended the suspense by announcing Bhajan Lal Sharma as the new Chief Minister of Rajasthan along with the names of two deputy Chief Ministers for the royal state, Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa.

"Bhajanlal Sharma has been elected as the leader of the Rajasthan BJP Legislature Party. There will be two Deputy CMs- Diya Singh and Dr. Prem Chand Bairwa. Vasudev Devnani to be the Speaker," says BJP central observer for Rajasthan, Rajnath Singh.

Representing the Dudu Vidhan Sabha constituency of Jaipur, the 54-year-old MLA won his seat in the 2023 Rajasthan Assembly Elections by defeating Congress candidate Babulal Nagar with a huge margin of 35,743 votes.

Before that, Bairwa won the Dudu constituency in 2013 by defeating Congress candidate Hazari Lal Nagar with a margin of 33,720 votes.
Diya Kumari who will be working with Bairwa won from the Vidyadhar Nagar constituency against Congress' Sitaram Agarwal with a margin of 71,368 votes.
BJP knocked out Congress in Rajasthan by winning 115 seats. No government in Rajasthan has been re-elected for a second term since 1998. The state has been consistently going back and forth between the BJP and the Congress.
