NEW DELHI: Nagela Fatela village has become famous. Unknown to most of Indians, Nagela Fatela village got special mention by PM Narendra Modi's Indpendence Day speech.

While addressing the nation from the Red Fort on the 70th Independence Day, PM Narendra Modi said that "For surajya, you also need good governance. We have made the impossible possible by connecting 21 crore people to Jan Dhan.

"We can contribute a lot to curb global warming by using IED bulbs and saving energy. From Delhi it takes three hours to reach Nagla Fatela village in Hathras, it took 70 years for electricity to reach there," Modi said.

Nagla Fatela is a village panchayat located in the Mahamaya Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh.
