NEW DELHI: Early trends point to a huge saffron surge in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Manipur, while Congress looks comfortable in Punjab.

The trends indicate Modi wave is cruising in India's biggest state, giving BJP a leg up in the state after almost 25 years.
