West Bengal under Mamata Banerjee has become a land of jehadis: BJP
"The rule of law in Bengal has been converted into law of vote bank by TMC and WB has become the land of jehadis under Mamata," BJP said.

"The rule of law in Bengal has been converted into law of vote bank by TMC and West Bengal has become the land of jehadis under Mamata Banerjee.
"However, BJP imbibed under the ideology of nationalism led by Shyama Prasad Mukerjee, will not allow West Bengal to become a jehadi safe haven," BJP National Secretary Siddharth Nath Singh said in a press statement.
Singh also condemned the arrest of BJP leaders in Makra in Birbhum yesterday.
"Yesterday my party leaders and MPs led by Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi tried to visit Makra for understanding the ground situation in a democratic and peaceful manner. They were stopped and arrested along with state President Rahul Sinha by the West Bengal Police. It is unfortunate and the step is a reminder of anarchist TMC rule in West Bengal," he said.
He also criticised TMC General Secretary Mukul Roy's statement that BJP was spreading communalism in the state.
