West Bengal: Suvendu Adhikari moves HC against defection of Mukul Roy to TMC
Three other MLAs from BJP-BJP Bishnupur MLA Tanmay Ghosh, Bagda MLA Biswajit Das and Kaliyagunj BJP MLA Soumen Roy have also defected to the ruling Trinamool Congress.

“We waited for more than four months. Mukul Roy had defected back to the Trinamool Congress and the Speaker Biman Bandhopadhyay is not doing anything to disqualify his post,” said Suvendu.
Suvendu also mentioned that the Supreme Court verdict over a Manipur defection is also attached with his complaint letter.
“We have urged the court for implementation of anti-defection law. In last 10 years anti-defection law is not implemented in West Bengal during Trinamool’s rule. BJP is a strong opposition.,” Suvendu said.
BJP Krishnanagar (North) MLA Mukul Roy had defected back to the ruling Trinamool Congress. LoP Suvendu Adhikari has been vocal against disqualification of MLA post of Roy.
Earlier, another BJP MLA Ambika Roy also moved the Calcutta High Court over removal of MLA post of Mukul Roy and the hearing is still on.
Three other MLAs from BJP-BJP Bishnupur MLA Tanmay Ghosh, Bagda MLA Biswajit Das and Kaliyagunj BJP MLA Soumen Roy have also defected to the ruling Trinamool Congress.
