West Bengal SIR rolls unlikely before Feb 28

West Bengal CEO Office on Monday indicated that the final publication of the electoral rolls of the SIR is unlikely to happen before February 28.

The date for publication of final rolls was February 14. Bengal CEO Manoj Kumar Agarwal told ET, "I will try my level best so that the roll preparation is complete in all respects and approval of the ECI is obtained for publication of the final rolls before the end of this month."

According to the schedule, the last date of hearing for SIR was February 7.
