West Bengal Panchayat elections have become a festival of death: MoS Nisith Pramanik

Speaking on West Bengal Panchayat Elections 2023, Union Minister of State (MoS) Nisith Pramanik on July 8 said that elections are a festival of the republic, but this time, panchayat elections in Bengal have become a festival of death.He said, “Elections are a festival of the republic, but this time, panchayat elections in Bengal have not become a festival of the republic but a festival of death. From the day the elections were announced till today, even the government will not have the correct figures of deaths.”
