TMC accuses Adhikari govt of rushing university staff transfer bill through WB assembly
Kolkata: West Bengal assembly on Thursday passed by voice vote an amendment bill, empowering the government to transfer teaching and non-teaching staff from one state university to another.

Both TMC factions accused the BJP-led West Bengal government of rushing through the bill.

Chief minister Suvendu Adhikari said: "Those unhappy with the provisions of the bill are welcome to quit their jobs."
