West Bengal: 2 injured as crude bomb goes off in house
SURI: Two persons were injured when crude bombs, kept in a houe, went off at Khairasole in Birbhum district today.
A senior police officer said the two suffered splinter injuries while allegedly making the crude bombs in the house. They were taken to Suri Hospital and arrested after recovery, the officer said.

The political identity of the injured, if any, was not spelt out by the police. The incident came four days after the death of three persons in a clash between TMC and BJP supporters over controlling the turf at Makra village and the attack on a police officer leading a raid party in Parui last week.

West Bengal will go to fresh assembly polls in 2016 with BJP emerging as a strong contender in place of the decimated Left who suffered a drubbing at the hands of TMC in 2011.
