Well-knit conspiracy to target Hindu leaders: Singhal

BHOPAL: Vishwa Hindu Parishad ( VHP) International President, Ashok Singhal has said that there was a well-knit conspiracy under which Hindu Religious leaders were being targeted and insulted by linking them with terrorism.

Addressing a 'Dharam Sabha' last evening at the Chhola Maidan, the VHP leader also strongly criticised Congress president, Sonia Gandhi and party general secretaries Rahul Gandhi and Digvijay Singh.

Singhal described Rahul as "mentally retarded" and Digvijay as having turned "lunatic". He did not spare Congress president Sonia Gandhi and described her as an agent of the Vatican working to weaken the Hindu ethos.

"Rahul is not fit to lead the country as he had equated the RSS with Lashkar-e-Toiba," the VHP leader said.
