We will take a decision on Rahul Gandhi issue: Election Commission
TheEC has said it is taking a decision on reports that Rahul Gandhi, had violated rules by going to the polling area inside some booths on May 7.

"We are not trying to avoid...the information is coming from 4-5 places. I can tell you honestly that we will take a decision...We have sought for information on this. It either must have come or may be on the way," Election Commissioner H S Brahma said while interacting with journalists here.
During a similar interaction here yesterday, Chief Election Commissioner V S Sampath had said that "it is a matter of fact (that Rahul was) seeing the EVM in a polling station." Sampath had further said this particular instance will be examined vis-a-vis the law (Representation of the People Act). The Congress Vice President was yesterday seen entering polling area inside some booths in Amethi constituency.
