We will confront government over JPC report on 2G scam: LK Advani

NEW DELHI: The BJP-led NDA has vowed to corner the government in Parliament over the JPC report on the 2G allocation scam which exonerated Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and targeted his predecessor AtalBihariVajpayee.

“The JPC was constituted after a lot of pressure from us. But the way the report has been prepared and leaked to a select few in the media is surprising. We were stunned to know from our members in the JPC that there are serious allegations made against Atal Bihari Vajpayee Jaswant Singh and Arun Shourie. We felt outraged at this kind of attitude of the UPA government,” senior BJP leader LK Advani said at a press conference after a meeting of the NDA.

In a statement, the NDA expressed “mounting concern under the misdeeds of this diarchal leadership of Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi.”
