We got black money without surgical strike: PM Narendra Modi

"Over Rs 65,000 crore black money has come to the mainstream after paying taxes," he said. "We managed this even without doing a surgical strike. You can imagine what will happen when we do one," he added.
Earlier, the reference to `surgical strike' came from the audience when Modi asked them what was India widely appreciated for these days. Expectedly , the crowd shouted, "surgical strike". Modi repeated the question and got the same reply. But he said that the country was being recognised as the fastest growing economy amongst the big economies of the world.
"This was recognised even by the World Bank, International Monetary Fund or credit rating agencies," he said.
Earlier, Modi also inaugurated the integrated terminal building for the Vadodara airport. This was Modi's first visit to Vadodara after becoming the PM.He had contested and won parliamentary polls from Vadodara besides Varanasi. He later relinquished the Vadodara seat.
