We expect West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee continue her support to SME sector: Bhasin, EEPC Chairman

Congratulating Ms Mamata Banerjee on her swearing in as Chief Minister of West Bengal for the second term, EEPC India Chairman Mr T S Bhasin today said the Trinamool Congress Government has brought the focus on the small and medium enterprises in the state, particularly in the engineering and manufacturing sector.

"India's engineering exports which are dominated by the SME sector has received a big boost from the West Bengal government during Ms Banerjee's first term. We expect a series of further measures for the engineering sector during the second term of extremely popular leader," Mr Bhasin said.

Mr Arun Kumar Garodia, Regional Chairman(ER) said, the EEPC India , with its headquarters in Kolkata, has been receiving an overwhelming support from the state government. Mr Bhasin said with the exports sector facing crisis in the international market, it is leaders like Ms Banerjee who will be a great source of support by way of removing obstacles for the small units.
