WB CM Mamata Banerjee to attend wedding of Arun Jaitley's daughter

KOLKATA: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will be in Delhi next week to attend the wedding ceremony Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley's daughter.

The chief minister will attend the wedding ceremony on Monday, people close to the Banerjee told ET. They said she will stay on in the capital for two more days until Wednesday but has no plan to hold talks with any political leader.

"She is going to Delhi mainly to attend the marriage ceremony of the finance minister's daughter," a senior leader of Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress ( TMC) party said.

TMC’s leaders in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha—Sudip Banerjee and Derek O' Brien—will accompany Benerjee to Delhi.
