Prime Minister Narendra Modi concluded his 11-day fast following the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony at the Shri Ram Janmaboomi Temple in Ayodhya on January 22. The consecration of the new Ram Lalla idol took place at the Ayodhya temple on the same day, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi leading the event. Millions of people witnessed the ceremony on television, both in their homes and in temples throughout the country.

He concluded his fast after receiving 'Charanamrit' from Govind Dev Giri Maharaj, a sweet drink made with milk used in rituals.

Govind Dev Giri Maharaj also commended PM Modi's dedication for successfully completing his 11-day rituals.

In an audio message shared on his official YouTube channel, the Prime Minister expressed his gratitude for being present at what he characterized as a "historic" and "auspicious" event.

"I have only 11 days left for the 'Pran Pratishtha' of the Ram temple. I believe that God has chosen me to represent the people of India during the consecration. With this in mind, I am commencing a special ritual for the next 11 days, starting today," he mentioned in the audio message.

As per reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi adhered to stringent rules and rituals preceding the consecration ceremony, known as 'pran-pratistha.' Reports indicate that he observed the tough 'Yam Rules,' involving an 11-day regimen focused on purifying the mind, body, and soul through meditation. Additionally, he reportedly followed strict 'sattvic' diet, abstaining from non-vegetarian food, onions, and garlic. As per reports, the Prime Minister consumed only fruits and chosen to sleep on the floor with only a blanket and consume coconut water.
