On its second anniversary, the government has thrown open an online quiz for citizens to check their knowledge of government initiatives and achievements. “The grand prize awaiting the winners — a certificate signed by Narendra Modi himself, and an opportunity to meet him in person,” says the quiz posted on My-Gov platform.
This is a timed quiz with 20 questions to be answered in 5 minutes and these 20 questions will be randomly picked from a question bank, to ensure no quiz is same. The Centre has also commenced an online ‘Rate My Government’ survey where 30 points are being posed to citizens, asking them to rate from 1-5 stars the various central government schemes and also asking in Yes or No if the citizen knows about the key features of its schemes like the PM Jan Dhan Yojana, Beti Bachao Bet Padhao Yojana and Swachh Bharat. “Your responses will help the government in further improving these programmes, serving you better and making India great,” as per MyGov.
The Quiz is expected to be the bigger draw given the prize of a meeting with the PM on offer. Cracking the quiz, however, is no cake walk. A sample of the tough questions being posed: how many children were immunised for first time under Mission Indradhanush initiative till May 9, 2016, (10.45 Lakh, 13.45 Lakh, 11.45 Lakh or 12.45 Lakh), how many Rajya Sabha MPs have identified Adarsh villages for development (200, 185, 175 or 225) and value of tenders awarded by Centre and public sector companies in March 2016 (35900 Cr, 36900 Cr, 34900 Cr, 33900 Cr).
