NEW DELHI: The Central Bureau of Investigation ( CBI) has filed two chargesheet against six persons, including medical aspirants in connection with Madhya Pradesh’s Vyapam scam.

The chargesheets were filed in two separate cases related to alleged irregularities in Pre-Medical Test conducted by Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) in 2009 and 2010.

In first case related to the 2010 test, CBI has named five accused — two impersonators, a candidate and two other persons who allegedly acted as middlemen.

“The investigation revealed that both impersonators, residents of district Bareilly and Chandoli (UP) had impersonated as candidates in the written examination of PMT-2010 held on June 20, 2010 at Guna with the help of middlemen,” said the agency’s spokesperson.

Both the impersonators had earlier jumped bail and were absconding, she said. At least 155 FIRs have been registered by the CBI to look into the Vyapam scam.
