Vyapam Scam: Congress demands two different probes into the case

NEW DELHI On the eve of the SC taking up the PIL demanding a court-monitored CBI probe into the Vyapam scam, the AICC has come out with an additional demand. Party spokesperson RPN Singh said that in addition to an SC-monitored CBI probe, there should also be a separate court-monitored CBI probe into the alleged spate of deaths connected with the scam and into the reported bid by the state investigators to cover-up some of them.

The AICC has also reiterated its demand for the resignation of MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan and a probe into his own rule. "When a former CM of Haryana (OP Chautala) and that of Bihar (Lalu Prasad) could face probe and jailing..., why should Chouhan be spared of an investigation," he asked
