Vyapam case: BJP mounts attack on Congress, seeks apology from Sonia Gandhi
An SIT has found that the evidence provided by the Congress against Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan in the Vyapam case was "fake" and "fabricated"

Attacking Congress of being bereft of issues and resorting to "forgery" in Madhya Pradesh, BJP also sought to know what action Congress President Sonia Gandhi would take against its leaders for their actions.
"Today BJP would like to demand from Sonia Gandhi as to what action would be taken against Digvijay Singh, Jyotiraditya Scindia and others for levelling false allegations and providing forged documents against Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, his wife and (Union Minister) Uma Bharti.
"Would you kindly explain the conduct of your leaders... Would you kindly tender an apology to the people of India," Union Minister and BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said.
Terming the issue as "very serious", he said a "desperate Congress in Madhya Pradesh is now resorting to forgery".
"Congress party which has repeatedly been suffering defeat became so desperate that Digvijay Singh hatched a conspiracy and provided a number of documents to show that Shivraj Singh Chouhan, his wife and Uma Bharti are involved," he said.
The issue was also discussed at the BJP Parliamentary Party meeting today, where the party MPs were informed about the SIT report findings that all evidence provided against Chouhan and others were "fake" and "fabricated".
The BJP MPs were also asked to up the offensive against Congress over the Vyapam scam issue as the special investigation team (SIT) probing the case had found that the evidence provided against Chouhan and his wife were "fake and fabricated".
"The well-orchestrated campaign by Congress against our Chief Minister was launched as they wanted to demolish the image of Chouhan," a senior leader said, adding it was a matter of satisfaction in BJP that truth has finally emerged.
The SIT had last week told Madhya Pradesh High Court that a cyber expert used forged document to drag the name of the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister in the Vyavsayik Pareeksha Mandal (VYAPAM) scam.
