West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee
KOLKATA: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee came down heavily on the Bengal SIR again on Tuesday and said the Election Commission is doing wrong things and making mistakes in connection to Bengal Special Revision and names are being deleted.

She alleged that "the EC app has been created by the IT cell of the BJP which is "Illegal, Unconstitutional and Undemocratic".

The West Bengal Chief Minister had attacked the SIR, logical discrepancies, and plight of the elderly citizens, who are forced to visit the Hearing centres with oxygen or other medical equipment attached.

Banerjee spoke about the SIR issue today as she was returning from Gangasagar, after monitoring the preparations.
