VK Singh, Mahesh Sharma to attend 70-year celebrations of Sanyas Ashram

MUMBAI: Union Ministers VK Singh and Dr Mahesh Sharma, Yoga guru Ramdev, senior RSS leader Bhaiyyaji Joshi and VHP leader Pravin Togadia would be attending the 70th anniversary celebrations of the city-based religious- educational organisation Sanyas Ashram this week.

The five-day celebrations will begin on January 16, said Swami Vishveshwaranand, president of Sanyas Ashram.

Acharya Pawan Tripathi, an associate of the Ashram, said religious leaders such as Morari Bapu, Sadhvi Ritambhara and BJP leader Subramanian Swamy, too, would be attending the event.

Shri 1008 Mahamandleshwar Swami Maheshwaranand Giri Ji Maharaj founded the Sanyas Ashram here on January 20, 1945.
