“I want to congratulate VHP unit in south Bengal for successfully completing the preliminary survey here. We will submit a report to the Governor in this regard. The society should come forward,” said Jain. He was speaking in a seminar in Kolkata organised by the VHP on “Population Imbalance leading to Demographic Challenges”.
According to the report, seven districts in Bengal including Malda, Murshidabad, Howrah, Midnapore, Dinajpur, South 24 Paragana and North 24 Paragana have been identified as most affected districts in the state from where Hindus are migrating to “safer” places, he said.
Jain further added that they have launched a campaign for Hindus, ‘No flight, but fight’. “We are trying to analyse data regarding the exodus of Hindus. We have to look into the density of migration. The reports will have all aspects and the reports will be published by the VHP,” said Jain.
