Vishnu Kumar Raju elected as BJP's floor leader in Andhra Pradesh assembly

VIJAYAWADA: BJP MLA P Vishnu Kumar Raju was today elected as party's floor leader in the Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly, while A Satyanrayana was elected as the whip.

The leaders were elected in a executive meeting, chaired by State BJP president K Hari Babu at Mangalagiri town in Guntur.

Raju is an MLA from Visakhapatnam North and A Satyanrayana is BJP MLA from Rajahmundry.

Hari Babu after the meeting told reporters that the NDA government is committed to fulfil all promises made in the Andhra Pradesh Bifurcation Bill, though it was passed in the UPA government regime.

He said that NDA will extend support to the state for its development post bifurcation.
