Visakhapatnam could be made Seemandhra capital, says minister

SRIKAKULAM: Union Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology T Killi Kruparani said here today that she and her other colleagues had made a demand to UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi that Visakhapatnam be made the new capital of the Seemandhra state.

Speaking at a function after laying the foundation stone for the e-Learning ICT centre at ZP High School, in Ragolu near Srikakulam on Thursday, she said that Visakhapatnam would be developed to standards better than Hyderabad.
