Violence in Bodoland: Surveillance on the residences of BPF leaders

GUWAHATI: Houses of several leaders of Bodoland Peoples' Front (BPF) are put under surveillance following spurt in the violence in Bodoland in Assam.

Relationship between congress and BPF has strained following arrest of Monokumar Brahma leader of Bodoland Peoples' Front (BPF) on Saturday.

Some Bodo leaders have alleged that they are put under house arrest. BPF is a coalition partner of the ruling congress government in Assam.
